In the East, yoga postures are practiced to prepare the body for meditation by creating openness and strength, and purifying the physical, emotional, and energetic layers of the body for a deep connection with Soul/Source energy.
With this in mind, Meditative Flow incorporates vigorous and restorative postures, connecting the body and mind with the breath, and leaving students feeling invigorated, grounded, relaxed and at peace. Each class will focus on pranayama to build awareness of the energetic layer of the body; a warm-up sequence followed by vigorous meditative vinyasa flow; and deep restorative poses and long savasana for relaxation. Reconnect to your inner peace and wisdom; a great way to start off your week!
