join maria and michelle for a weekend of support by way of the breath and deep rest.
AUTUMN is a time for both harvest and decay. It’s the season of replenishing our reserves that will generously, hopefully, accompany us through the darker months that lie ahead. It’s also the season of letting go, the season of shaking the life-barren leaves off our branches as we prepare for a period that offers us a deeper sense of nourishment and introspection.
We’re gathering together -- with the support of time, breath, sound, scent and the wisdom of our ancestors -- to transverse our own inner landscapes and help guide us towards what needs to be seen with a more refined vision. To help us see clearly how to work with the season’s offering of harvesting our bounty and composting what we no longer need to enable the growth of something more aligned to come.
Throughout this weekend, as we take a closer look at what has traveling with us into this life, we will be held by the fullness of the moon, the presence of our ancient ancestors, and the brisk October air weaving through the ample medicine of our breath.
We will breathe, acknowledge the plentiful days of light, and restore ourselves into autumn’s sweet season of nourishment and decay.
B R E A T H W O R K
is an active meditation technique that allows you to connect with your breath and clear your mind and body of stuck energy. It allows you to feel where your blocks reside and actively move through them, creating a pathway for an emotional detox.
On one hand it activates you, on the other it allows you to relax and release tension while liberating limiting beliefs. It can connect you to your innate wisdom while helping you to open your heart to honest self-love, self-healing, and self-acceptance.

If yoga had seasons Restorative yoga would be winter, the time for hibernation and pulling back into comfort and slowness.
Restorative yoga is a gentle practice that through time and patience supports stillness and space. This form of active resting will teach you to surrender yourself to the more subtle layers of the body/mind. From this cocoon of deliberate rest we are better able to unplug from everyday life so we can connect to ourselves and to our inner landscape of energy; it is here that our awareness and creativity awakens.
With support from bolsters, blankets and blocks the body will release tension, anxiety and the busyness of the mind.
